How to Clear Your Energy and Come Home to Your True Self
In this episode, Juli Martin follows the guides into what she calls the singular quest of our lives: to be uniquely, unmistakably, beautifully who we are. It sounds simple, and yet it is surprisingly hard in a world that raises us to mimic the people around us, from our parents to our peers to the thin, curated slices of others we absorb through our screens. We are asked to get along, to collaborate, to honor the unspoken norms of community, and somewhere inside all of that it becomes genuinely difficult to feel where the inherited patterns end and the real you begins. Juli names an experience many of us know well: catching yourself saying or doing something, perhaps firing off a text or an email in a state of upset, and realizing afterward that it wasn't truly you at all, but a program running, an energy signature borrowed from the culture or from someone else entirely. This episode is an invitation to set that down. It is not your responsibility, she reminds us, to carry forward or live out the programs of other people, whether living or long gone, or even those handed down through your ancestors. From there she offers a tender, practical way home. First, clear the noise from your body and your field through whatever movement or practice you love. Then drop beneath thought and beneath emotion into your heart center, into the mysterious inner universe that is you. She shares a beautiful exercise for feeling into a beingness that lives underneath all the training and mimicry: gently relocating your perspective into that of a favorite animal, plant, or tree, sensing how it feels to be other than human, and then returning to yourself to notice who and what is really there. And she leaves us with a profound truth and its paradox. No one in all the billions of people who have ever lived or ever will will be exactly who you are in this moment, and at the very same time you are always changing, particle and wave, fixed and forever in motion. That means you are free to take the threads of who you are and reweave them into a new pattern whenever you choose, so that the you who sits in quiet solitude tomorrow, and next month, and years from now, can look back in wonder at how far you have flowed. It is, above all, a celebration of your own genius and love-light, and of your willingness to share that gift in whatever way calls you.
